A young man began buying coconuts from nearby villages by himself, getting himself from place to place on a bicycle and marketed his stock in his own village surandai. He then industriously established his shop along with his brothers under the name AL Sons; which then supplied coconuts to nearby city markets. This endeavour turned out to become a lucrative family business for three decades now. The business is now venturing into coconut oil market and has plans to keep growing.
